DEACON ROBERT BORCHERT Deacon Rob was ordained at St. Jude Parish in St. Louis, Missouri in January 1982 where he served until a job transfer to St. Mary’s of the Lake in Skaneateles, New York. Another job transfer in 2004 brought him to St. Jude in Spotsylvania. Deacon Rob has a Masters in Theology from St. Louis University and a Masters in Business Administration from Fordham University. He is married to Lorrie and they have six children, five sons and one daughter, all living away from home. |

DEACON ROBERT LYONS Deacon Bob was ordained in the Archdiocese of Washington in 2000 and was assigned to St. Peter’s Church in Waldorf, MD. After moving to Virginia he transferred to the Diocese of Arlington and was assigned to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception in 2006. In July 2010, he was transferred to St. Jude. His experience includes teaching RCIA, CCD, and Bible study. He also volunteers as hospital chaplain and visits the nursing home. Deacon Bob and his wife Bonnie celebrated their 25th anniversary in 2009. Their daughter is a student at Pope John Paul the Great Catholic High School (Class of 2013). Deacon Bob is a senior engineer at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Dahlgren, VA. |

MARY ANN BUCCIGROSSI, SACRISTAN Mary Ann and her husband John, moved from New Jersey in 2000. She has been the sacristan at St. Jude since it was established as a mission church. |

GEORGE EVANS, DIRECTOR OF SACRED MUSIC George has had a lifelong experience in liturgical music. He started at age 8 in his church’s boys choir. Since then, he has served in various capacities in his music ministry singing, playing the guitar, playing the mandolin, leading congregations as a cantor, directing, and coordinating the music for all different types of liturgies. George has served at St. Jude’s and St. Mary’s in Fredericksburg, and St. Rita’s and Our Lady of Mount Carmel in Baltimore, Maryland. He is very appreciative of the opportunity to serve St. Jude’s as the Director of Sacred Music and looks forward to working with the many talented parishoners who want to serve in their music ministry. |
| DEBBIE BLANKENSHIP, BUSINESS MANAGER Debbie has been the Business Manager and Bookkeeper since the establishment of St. Jude. The Blankenship family has lived in the Fredericksburg area since 1984. | |
| HELEN HUFF, MANAGER OF FAITH FORMATION Helen and her family moved to Fredericksburg in 2003 just as St. Jude’s was formed. She volunteered as a catechist and in the faith formation office prior to becoming the Manager of Faith Formation. | |
| CELESTE O’LEARY, RECEPTIONIST Celeste, her husband Dennis and three children have lived in Fredericksburg since 1993. They were members of St. Mary’s for ten years and joined St. Jude when it was formed in 2003. She has taught Faith Formation classes for many years both at St. Mary’s and now at St. Jude. With Dennis, she has also been active in the music ministry and Knights of Columbus. Since her youngest is a senior is high school, a part-time job as receptionist at St. Jude filled a need for her and the parish. | |
| IRENE THERIAULT, SACRISTAN Al and Irene moved to the Fredericksburg area in 1989 and were St. Mary’s parishioners. Irene started to be involved in the Eucharistic Ministry in 1995. She became a Secular Franciscan in 1996. They moved to Montana, Colorado and Pennsylvania before relocating back to Fredericksburg in 2007. Irene became heavily involved with Faith Formation and was a Eucharistic Minister when they joined St. Jude. She has been a Sacristan since 2010. | |
| ROSEMARY BILODEAU, SACRISTAN Rosemary and her husband Don and family moved to Fredericksburg in 1989. They were parishioners of St Mary’s until the formation of St Jude mission in 2003. Rosemary has been involved in the Eucharistic Minister, Faith Formation, and Youth Group ministries at St Jude prior to becoming a Sacristan. Rosemary is a Registered Nurse and volunteers at the Moss Free Clinic and the American Red Cross. |
